What is the benefit of a not-for-profit community?
The Terraces’ not-for-profit status encompasses numerous benefits. First and foremost, the entire focus of our senior living community is to provide a quality, meaningful and secure life for all residents. Other benefits include a foundation to provide support if a resident experiences financial difficulties, direction by a local board of directors and reinvestment of funds back into the community. In addition, favorable tax credits and exemptions and preferred pricing on goods and services help to contain operating costs, resulting in more stabilized monthly fees for residents.
What is a continuing care retirement community?
The continuing care lifestyle is a retirement living option enjoyed by thousands of seniors across the country. CCRCs emphasize lifelong learning, personal growth, and health and well-being. As a CCRC, The Terraces offers four lifestyle options — residential living, assisted living, skilled nursing and memory support — as well as an array of services and amenities, maintenance-free living and personal support designed to help maintain health and independence for as long as possible.
What services and amenities are available at The Terraces?

Do the residents own their apartment homes?
Residents of The Terraces do not actually own their apartment homes.
